To receive government benefits, please first check if you meet the eligibility criteria. Here is a quick summary of the 4 key requirements:

• No Private Insurance: You must not have access to any private dental insurance.

• Income Requirement: Your adjusted family net income must be less than $90,000.

• Tax Filer: You must have filed your tax return for the previous year.

• Canadian Resident: You must be a resident of Canada for tax purposes.

  
  

Note: If you haven't applied yet, please apply through the official government website first to receive your CDCP Welcome Bead/Package.

"What kind of treatments are covered?" While most preventive and basic treatments are included, your co-payment (out-of-pocket cost) will depend on your adjusted family net income.

• Diagnostic & Preventive: Oral exams, cleanings (scaling), X-rays, etc.

• Restorative: Fillings (resin, etc.)

• Other Treatments: Endodontic (root canals) and extractions may also be covered based on necessity. (Specific coverage requires a consultation.)
